**When to use:** Deciding how far to let your AI hire go: let it draft for your sign-off before you trust it to act on its own. Keep unattended systems on the Produce side; let people act.

An unattended AI does one of two things

Produce

Safe to leave running

It makes something - a draft, a summary, a shortlist - and hands it to a person to decide.

Act

Far higher stakes

It does the thing itself - sends the email, books the slot, moves the money. Same tool.

Keep unattended systems **producing**, and let people **act**.
