# Operator to Orchestrator
Source: https://humanspark.ai/frameworks/operator-to-orchestrator/

*The shift from working one AI conversation to directing several.*

**When to use:** When AI is producing real work for you and your own attention has become the limit.

1. **Operator** - You work the tool yourself, one thread at a time. Your attention is the limit.
2. **Orchestrator** - You set the goal, scope and checks, then run several threads at once. Your briefing and verifying are the limit.

> **The next limit:** You stop producing the work and start producing the brief and the check. Most routine work never needs the second mode.
